Market for H140 hard drive?

Just curious: is there a market for a used H140 hard drive still in fine working condition and what might it go for? Was considering bumping my H140 into an H160, and was wondering what to do with the earlier hard drive/if there's a market there. Thanks--

maybe you'll get a good deal, maybe not, depends on the market when you do decide to sell it. you could always use it for other purposes, buy a cheap housing for it, external drive ?.

If your player is still under warranty then keep it in case you need to RMA it.
Depending on demand, I'm guessing you could probably get bewteen £40 and £60 for it. Maybe a bit more.

EDIT: Just noticed you were in the US. That's about $70 - $110, but the US market may be different.
Keep an eye on ebay, they pop up every so often.

This is what I'm going to do when I get my 60- or 80-GB drive - keep the original H140 drive safe, so if I need to send away for warranty, I could re-flash back to stock firmware and switch the HDD back to original.

You may be able to get a USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394 (Firewire) enclosure that would turn the 40-GB 1.8" internal drive into a USB drive...

I dropped my H140 about 6 months ago and killed the hard drive so need a replacement. Are you still selling yours?
