Where have all the 30 and 60gb drives gone. Can't find them anywhere except from dogdy lookiing ebay sellers from china.

When are the 40, and 80gb drives actualy gonna appear. i need a new HD ASAP.

I want the 80-GB (doesn't matter how many platter) 1.8" drive for my H140. That size would suit me well.

Seems like all the drives produced have been bought up by companies wishing to use them. the Toshiba Gigabeat F41 uses one itself...

It was of course bound to happen this way. The Toshiba rep I corresponded with also let me know the same thing, but wasn't able to give me information about possibly having some available for "testing" purposes etc.. They of course do their own QC stuff as do all HD manufacturers, so justifying such a thing as giving some away, isn't really logical.

As far as sales go, they really only really release mass quantities, which are usually as said, bought by companies such as Apple etc.. I may try to acquire some again since the release date is so close, but I doubt that I'll be successful.
