Little changes to clix2
I own an iriver clix (1st gen) and was thinking about getting a clix2. I was just wonder if iriver has changed any little things in the clix2 from the 1st generation. Like waiting 3 seconds for the back light to turn on again and other things like that. Thanks in advance.

I have the Clix2, and I can tell you what I know. Keep in mind, I never had a Clix, so I'm simply posting the changes which I've read about, between the Clix and the Clix2.
New, improved AMOLED screen. The screen is AMAZING. Again, I haven't seen the Clix screen, so I don't know how they compare, but the Clix2 screen is visible from almost any angle, and very easy to view in bright daylight! New USB to mini USB connector. If you lose your USB cable, you now don't have to go to iRiver for a replacement, almost every computer store carries a standard USB to mini USB cable, and many people already have one for other devices. Thinner, but wider. Very sleek form factor, much less "square" then the original. Upgraded video from 15 FPS to 30 FPS... videos look smooth and stunning... While CNet wrote: "quite simply the finest flash-based MP3 player you can buy at the moment - the second-generation Clix is feature-packed, easy to use, stunning aesthetics and it won't break the bank" if you already own a Clix, I'm not sure if there's a great advantage in moving up to the next generation. |
