clix2 8gig coming June 15?

I was looking around today and saw this:

It's a preorder for the clix2, and if you notice the release date is set for June 15. Does anybody know if this is just a random time they set and they have no idea when it's released? Or if this is indeed the release date for the 8gig.

But June 15 kind of makes sense, last anyone knew, June was expected to be the release date, the 15th part is just hedging your bets - it can only be about two weeks out at most.

That one just took me to a screen asking me to choose my country.

When I clicked on the 'EU' option, it took me to the site's front-page but in English this time (yay! ). Unfortunately, however, the English version of the site only seems to sell CDs and t-shirts

i think that this date is still a guess. BTW, the price listed is equal to approx. $299 US dollars or 150 british pounds

Back to the original topic - Late June/Early July will probably be about the time I'll be getting a new player, so it could be perfect timing for an 8GB clix2 if that date is right...

I mean, I'd like to buy it from jeff but unless the difference in price would make up for the shipping costs and potential import duty, well I'm hardly a rich person

It is likely that this 'rumor' started when Engadget reported the release of 8GB clix2 (in Japan) will be in mid June.

well... you will probably get it for 250$..

electronic stuff tend to be way more expensive in Scandinavia...

one thing is weird though... if you check the price on the danish or norwegian section of cdon you will find both the 8 and 4 gb clix 2 at 299$... if you go to the swedish section the 4 gb is still 299$ but the 8 gb is 365$..???

well... i've preordered the 8 gb at the danish site... maybe i'll get lucky and they won't charge me more..

Yeah I noticed those were the same price too. Not sure what was messed up where, but I guess you'll find out
