Any word of a future large capacity (larger than 20GB) players?

I've been scoping around for something to replace my H10 20GB for quite a while, but I can't find anything with identical features to the H10. Does anyone know if there might be a chance iRiver with develop a player larger than the H10 20GB? I've been waiting for such a long time now.

Have a look at Cowon, have a look at Creative, have a look at Apple.
But there's no point looking at iRiver, they've chosen a different path.

Besides my iRIver H320 my iPod 80GB is one of the nicest things I ever purchased. It's great to be loyal to the iRver family line of products but if you must get a hard disk based player currently iRIver is not the brand you should be looking at.

Which is a damn shame as I really, really, really like the H340 and am just now thinking about getting a new DAP that has a higher capacity... I love the use-ability of it and the fact that I can connect to any computer and dont have to worry about proprietary issues like itunes (as I will admit to looking at the ipod vid 80gb... but that damn itunes)... Creative looks ok though... sigh...

You could always upgrade your H340 hard drive to 60GB or 80GB.
I'm not sure if Rockbox is fully functioning on the new iPod models, but I think that would eliminate the need to use itunes, if you decide to go down the iPath.

Good points and I could I suppose upgrade the battery at the same time (need the long battery time)... trouble is as technologically challenged as I am I need to find someone who can do this for me...

Rockbox does not yet operate on the iPod 5.5 (80 gb version), unfortunately.
