F10: 2 mm thickness, 35 x 45 mm, 2.2" QVGA
Hi all,
do you know about the new F10 - the flat U10? It's a sub-credit-card player, but almost as flat as a credit card. Here's an image of the display: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/81429 This new display from Samsung is 2.2" (same as clix and u10), offers QVGA - and its thickness is 0.82 mm (which is 1/31 inch). ... otherwise the existence of the F10 is mere phantasy. Taking ordinary Li-Ion batteries, its battery life would be within a few minutes only... I've tried one of the Samsung players today, which got some real kind of touchscreen surface, although the buttons are not below the display, but besides of it. I feet it's unfeelable. I guess it's unusable without looking at it. But I'd like some real kind of analog scroll bar or wheel, as Apple invented (or copied?). |
