Just a new image of the H320.
Not too much of a big update, but I found another image of the H320, I guess the buttons are backlit?

Not only the photo, all specifications and features are presented on the japanese website:
http://www.iriver.co.jp/product/h300/ One should try to translate via Babelfish. The text sounds interesting. At the three white top buttons and four grey buttons you can browse from page to page. |

Interesting link, Koolshen - I used a couple of web translators on it, BabelFish & WorldLingo... I've included WorldLingo translation only where it adds to that of BabelFish.
Some points of difference to the H1xx series... BF: Sale time: The middle of June --------------------- BF: Even without using the personal computer, direct sound recording, furthermore being to divide automatically at the tune unit from the CD player... BF: Direct encoding functional loading which directly from the audio equipment of the CD player and the compound etc. can be recorded in the H300 series. Dividing into the tune unit automatically, with the Advanced Capability which it takes in, you do not use the personal computer... Line-in Auto-Sync when recording from CD, as in the 500 series? ... "0" setting for gapless maybe?? (Though 500 has only Off & 1-5 sec. options) --------------------- BF: With the setting of bit rate control of the number and sound recording quality of files possibility (however, deletion function of the file is utilized, the personal computer is necessary). Strange, this doesn't sound as though on-the-fly delete is an option...? --------------------- BF: ...the wide band FM tuner which (sound recording function)... WL: The H300 series can catch many FM broadcasts building in "the wide band FM tuner (sound recording yes)". The Japanese country of course, it is possible to enjoy perfect FM even in the foreign country. WL: As for FM band, 76.0MHz - Reception of the FM broadcast in 108MHz and the Japanese country of course, when going to overseas travel, reception sound recording of local FM broadcast of the locale is possible. Does this mean that you can now record directly from the FM radio at last? --------------------- BF: As for the ??????…??? function which indicates the file of text format in the picture, per 1 line 26 letters (the half angle) with text indication of 10 lines is possible. BF: Because it supports also the text reading function in while playing back the music file, music address and telephone number, in retention perusal of the data of schedule and the list etc., the ? ? which is in addition while commuting and attending school to read the electronic book in the H300 series being to be possible, it does. Sounds (and looks, from the illustrations) as though it's a more practical text-reader than it was before. --------------------- Obviously this is only semi-informed guess-work, as even the english pages of the the iRiver site can be confusing at times, let alone the japanese version! |

Think about it. Does you colour screen mobile phone suck the battery dry quicker than an old monochrome LCD one? |
