Wheres Irivers answer to the nano?
I dont know if you guys talked about this already, but i am surprized that i havent heard about an answer to the nano in the works. Think about it a flash h10 like the Jr one, but with 4 gb instead of 1 gb. It maybe kind of dumb to directly try and compete with the ipod, but this product is very appealing. I would definatly get it, even though the 1 gb Jr didnt come out here in the US. 1 gb is just too small.

quite simply, iRiver does not have a 4gb player. They have the 512Mb, 1Gb and 2gb U10 and H10 Jr. models, and the 5/6 Gb H10, but no 4Gb player (flash or not). And both of these models were announced before the Nano.

I'd say U10 is the closest thing, but the capacity isn't up to par as of yet.

iRiver's "answer" to the Nano is the same as the other DAP producers not affiliated with or assimilated by Jobs, and comes in 2 parts:

1. Lookie at all them scratches! Noice!!
2. What's wrong with putting VBR mp3's on it?

(cr)Apple had a good enough idea, and short-armed it. It's not that the Nano is bad, per se, it just didn't improve on prior 'pod shortcomings. I was impressed at first, then less-n-less as I read more-n-more....

Personaly I think the Nano is a piece of sh*t......Why?...... ...Its too small!my friend lost his the first week he got it!and why have album art on such a small screen....u cant even see the picture..
