Just recieved 5G cradle today......

I just recieved 1 today for the 5 gig,try to buy used one because its not worth the amount iriver wants.For one thing the usb 2.0 cable that comes with it...is only 3 ft.Which is not worth $&^%$ if you have a pc on the bottom of say a desk and you try to put the charger on top of desk.Luckly,i have a spare one that is 6ft.There is not much to the charger seems to be around 10.00 to make if that,the player ways more .The good thing is you don't have to use the stupid usb cord that came with the player,the wall adapter just plugs in the back its self which is cool.Suggest that you use normal EQ setting when using the line out on charger,its the raw signal and the vol...etc is disabled,which is good,there is nothing in the directions that tells you this info or any,the manual is as good as the player one....lol.I hope this info hasen't already been posted...sorry if it has.

Im not one to complain...but damn it cost me roughly around 70.00cad..incl.shipp ing.

And yes, the cradles are stupidly expensive. I tried to get one for cheap from china by the damn airline lost one piece of my flatmate's baggage, and it just happened to be the one with the cradle in it.

I have noticed however, a distinct lack of them on ebay.
