One of my latest Portable Media Players is a Creative Zen 8GB. It really is a great little player, small and very pocketable. I haven't tried using an SD card yet, but definitely plan to. Also, I'm not upgrading the firmware until some of the problems get sorted out.

I just bought an 16GB Zen today. I really love it! and same here, I haven't upgraded mostly because it puts your player in hibernation rather than totally shutting it off.

Whats the complaints I hear re music on the Sd card? re actually accessing it?

I just upgraded my 4gb d2 to the 16gb one and also have a 16gb sdhc card, its so so good carrying around all my music and the battery life is just so good.

It was aud$260 for the 16gb d2 (i got it in the Usa) they are aud$295 from Minidisc, and $80 for the 16gb sdhc card
