So, what you're saying is that you personally don't think the Zen V+ sounds as good.
That's very different from saying that it is incapable of sounding as good, as your opinion is purely subjective. I'm not trying to argue, it's just that the way you said what you did came across as though there was some reason why the Zen V+ didn't sound as good (crappy hardware or something), as opposed to it merely being an opinion. Also, on a separate point, SRS WOW isn't necessarily a good thing. Most people, even if they like bass in their music seem to be of the opinion that SRS WOW detracts from the overall sound quality, that songs aren't as clear when they use it. At least, that's what I've picked up from people round here.

It isn't just me who think clix sounds better than ZV+. Search around many review sites that compare the two players and you will notice almost every reviewer prefers the sound of clix over ZV+. In my personal account, anyone who try my clix and ZV+ prefers the sound quality of clix too.
I read an article somewhere where it discusses the hardware (sound decoding chip) of clix is actually one of the best chips currently in the market. The same chip has been used in other hi-end electronics and various DAPs that have been known for their sound quality. Of course, beside the chip used, sound quality is still mainly a very subjective topic.

To be honest, I tend not to trust reviews too much - especially not when it comes to sound quality. Sure, if a lot of people say the same thing, it's quite likely to be true but it's still no guarantee (if iPods have taught us just one thing, it's that the majority don't always get it right). I try and test things myself (again, especially subjective matters like sound quality) - I tried a Nano in a shop a couple of times before buying one of my own. I was just curious was all.
