Unhappy D2 not a worthy replacement for H120

Hi,

I finally replaced my iriver with a D2, bought an 8 meg card to go in it, and have spent the last month or 2 travelling round with both, listening to one, then the other...comparing... ..but I've come to the conclusion, as has been mentioned before, that the D2 sounds no-where near as good as the H120.

I use Shure E4 in ears, and can do pretty much anything to the EQ on the iriver, and it won't distort. The D2 is just not capable of pumping out quite enough bass for my liking. I don't want too much, just a really nice deep bass. The highs for me are not quite high or smooth enough either.

I like the size, shape and GUI of the D2, which is why I replaced my H120, so now I'm going to find it hard to go back to something that big, but I guess I'll have to for the time being.

Point being, does anyone know of another player I could try? Most of my stuff is in OGG format, and I like the idea of a non-proprietary mini-usb charger. Anyone?! Please!

Thanks,

Tom

The M6 by Meizu fits that bill.

Fair battery life. Nice sound.

Only problem is low capacity. If it were more than 10 GBs then it would be awesome.

Can it really kick out as much as the H120 though? Have you heard both?

Thanks,

Tom
