This nice little player has been released in the Us and Uk in 2gb version for Us$179 and the 4gb one coming next month?

A great feature is its ability to use a sd card and Cowon support say a firmware update is coming for it to be able to support ALL sd cards, so hope this means the sdhc ones that have 8gb capacities available at the moment

Personally, I find if kind of cumbersome to have to use double-click or double-tap to select some items. A single tap should be good enough.

Yeah i have mine now, its just awesome, the Korean site says it will have support for sdhc cards (8gb are out now) very soon with a firmware update.

The audio is quoted as 52 hours im testing now, im sure at 320kbps it will be about 40 hours you have to love that!

The touch screen is so nice and the sound quality is most probably better than my h340

I don't think it does. - I looked at one in AdvancedMP3players in the Buchanan galleries last week.

Nice, but a touch pricey - paying for the touch screen.

I'm thinking about getting a 4GB one with a free 2GB memory card for €250. . To replace my iFP-395T.

Edit: I just ordered a 4GB iAudio D2 with 2GB SD Card and a black Noreve leather case. I hope it arrives tomorrow. If so, pics galore .

Advanced mp3 have it for 179 pounds and includes a 4gb card, i also have the Noreve case too its pretty nice.

I'm looking into getting one of these since my girlfriend accidentally lost my trusty ol' H340

Only qualms from my research thus far are lack of gapless playback, small memory size (though a 4gb D2 with a removable 4gb SD card brings it up to 8gb...) and concerns about not having tactile navigation.

Can anyone who currently has one of these give me some more information? How does the screen hold up when viewed in direct sunlight? I really would love to go see one in person to see how it handles, but of course it is impossible to find anything other than iPod's or Zune's in retail stores in the US.

@ Judge:
I am also thinking about getting some shure inner ear monitors, how well does this little player drive your E4C's without a portable amp? How does it compare to the H3xx as far as audio output?

I got sucked into this one...

So... have a 4GB coming with a metal skin, a couple of extra stylus, and leather case.

Also have an i-Station mini coming, 4GB with Cradle/Speaker combo, etc...

I just love gadgets...

Where did you order the 4gb version from and how much was it? I cannot seem to find anywhere in the US carrying the 4gb D2, only the 2gb...
