Jeff,

Since I can't PM you, I'll just ask this here:

Would you be so kind as to bring in a couple of sets of AV and Line-in converter cables for the D2? I noticed you had the AV cables earlier but I was hoping to get all the cables at once.

Myself and at least one other person at iaudiophile cannot get our hands on these in Canada. Jetmall doesn't ship to Canada for whatever reason and the online store where I got my player doesn't have any cables.

Just received my leather Misticaudio case today. A very nice case indeed, nicely done Jeff.

Any chance on some cables? Maybe you can buy them from Jetmall and sell them here...?

About half that much. I am not quite desparate enough yet to pay twice as much as I should have to pay. It's strange that Amazon.com doesn't carry the cables either but they have the player and various accessories.

It's just speculation.

Now that I look at it, the original article says that the X5's production has only been stopped temporarily, which I think sheds doubt on the veracity of the source as the X5 has (as we know) been discontinued.

It's possible that Cowon is simply trying to get the ol' PR-mill going for the sake of some publicity, only to announce "delays" when the rumored release date gets near....

If the release date is merely a rumour, I can't imagine them wasting their time announcing anything.
As of yet, neither the high-cap D2s or the X7 actually exist, so Cowon have no need to try and make excuses for when they're going to be released.

Well...fine. Then I'm announcing them! I've put in a pre-order at waht I am sure is a legitimate Nigerian website for both a 16gb D2 and an 80gb X7.... "Michael" will keep me posted....

How nice, they're shipping DAPs as well as giving you millions of dollars

It'd be nice if these articles prove to be correct but until Cowon say so, best off not getting ahead of ourselves.

touch-screens are finger print magnets... It's like the iPhone... u gotta wipe the screen quite frequently

Once the release date is announced by Cowon add 6-9 months for lower capacity and another 3 months for higher capacity. This company make such high quality stuff so I guess if your patient its worth it. The aftermarket accessories are for sale before the product is.
