The successor to the a2, still the best pmp out there due to its battery video life of 8-10 hours, and no conversion (yes thats right) will be available in 30gb and 60gb offerings. Price to be determined and due out next month . This is your fault SS opening all these new sub forums

i have the a2 and it is awesome
the A3 doesnt look much better in my opinion except for usb 2 host, but i dont use usb host much anyway
all the important stuff is the same

The A3 has coming what the only feature it lacked a bigger hard drive.
Prices are estimated at us$299 for 30gb and $399 for 60gb

Availability 30gb Feb in the Us and 60gb April/May

This is on my shopping list (60gb) sold my a2 while the prices remain high

Cowon have more awesome offerings coming d2, q5

I wish it'd come out!

Because I have my eye on buying an A2, and it's about 300 bucks on eBay!

I'd rather get it from a respectable store, such as newegg or something.

Because when the A3 comes out, they're going to drop the price of A2 I betch'a!

My iRiver H10 has treated my awesome... But I'd like to view movies. On a big screen. And for EIGHT hours! Hello!

Cowon have said the release is delayed until April/May and thats for the 30gb model with 60gb released a few months after that

its reported better than the a2 and thats saying something, as the a2 has 8 hours video an 18 music, but I guess wifi will cut it down some

The little extra over the current A2's price is almost worth it for the USB-OTG 2.0. If you can connect this to a USB 3.5" enclosed hard drive you'll have all the movies and music you could ever want at hand.

I suppose it could have been better with touch-screen and Wi-Fi (I see no real practical point for this on a PMP IMO. If I have wi-fi access to my movies I'd watch em on my tv or my computer!) or bluetooth (A much more desirable function).

Bumping this old thread

This player is something to consider, the audio is getting great reports and video playback upto Cowons standards (being a2) but better and more codecs

The weird thing is the a2 gave 9 hours video and 18 hours audio (from real use)
the a3 gives 7 hours video and lucky to get over 10 hours audio not 14 that cowon claim.
