Apologies in advance as this is probably not the correct forum (though I use a 140 so there's my connection ) but - just went to the DAP store

only to find that it is closing!?!?!?!
Why? What's happened? Have I missed something here? And where are we now to buy our upgraded batteries and hard drives from?
It was a great store, its a shame to see it closing.

Anyone know the reaons?

(later - sorry - just realised this is in ENTIRELY the wrong section - I meant to post it in the H140 section - jeez, I need my eyes testing. It is late...)

Thanks for moving the thread to the correct place!

I take it from the replies then that no one knows the reason for the ceasing of trading then? I always had very good service from them.

Probably because they sold all their stock and couldn't get new stock cheap enough to compete with the others that started selling similar products.

Batteries are available cheaper on ebay.
Drives are available from others that probably have more buying power so can get better prices.

There are a couple of suppliers of drives in the wiki.
