What exactly is DBScan?
That is pretty much it, I have the DBScan thing on my device and when I try to run it against my MP3's it fails, I don't know what it is or what I am supposed to do with it.

it allows you to build a database, then broswe by artist, album, genre, etc.

you can use the software on the cd that came with the player to build a database, or other third party programs

Ahh I seem to recall that it was only the media converter that came on my CD, but I could be wrong. I will have a look later when I get back home.

Thanks for the reply... btw any suggestions for any decent 3rd party utils?

well, I use TagDatabase Tool (TDT) with my h120, I don't know if it works with PMP/PMC's though

havin a hard time with TDT
tried using it but then it wants to synch my h320 with my laptop. I have way too many songs on the laptop to synch in 20 gigs so I just want the database to be able to browse by Artist, blaze blah......
Can someone give me STEP BY STEP instuctions for *only* creating a database?

set TDT to not sync, click synconisetab on tdt, uncheck sync

Is it true that the DBscan only supports about 200 Artists?Can this number be increased,or is it a technical issue (small memory, etc.)?
