Just out of interest - even though iRiver have removed the description from their websites, am I right in thinking legal action could still be pursued (theoretically, of course ), on the basis that the players came with a GAME folder (and an empty one at that) ???
Acording to all the info I have yes we could, it claimed 8bit game support and that has not been seen, by this they should be allowing us to develop titles or 3rd party companies to do it, the fact that there is no developers and it has been removed means that we can demand it as promised. I dont care what the game is but to claim it and not release it is insane and against at least EU law, just give us some emulator or game platform is all we ask so we can start to develop them ourselves, there are many tallents here Im sure we could pull together a team to produce a game (maybe more).

This said we need to complain on the iRiver site a bit as they dont look on here.

Collective action

Have you complained about it yet? If not, perhaps we can collectively respond as users to iRiver.
