PMP 100 Series Features

I have spend many weeks now researching my now imminent purchase.
Their site claims it can play 8 bit games but I have heard nothing on any of the forums, and it is beginning to annoy me that there is no information on this feature.

Is it expeced to be an emulator for old skool games such as Sega and NES platforms or is it to be a firmware upgrade to play a select few iRiver branded games.

I know I have another post but felt that I needed to make this a separate as it is very important pending my purchase.

Also any reviews from people on this site are appreciated to compile a fair view of this player!
