Official iRiver "Boot Failure" Fix and US 2.04 Firmware
After attempting to skin my PMP-120 (I didn't have a bookmark.xml file so I attempted to re-install firmware...too many times), I got the "Boot Failure" message. I was kind of skeptic about trying the methods I found online so I looked at the iRiver site to see if I could find the manual online (I was too lazy to go get it from the box) and found that iRiver actually posted a way to resolve the Boot Failure. It worked like a charm and was exceedingly easy to do. Hope this helps!
Untitled Document I also noticed that there was a link to the 2.04 firmware US style. I like how they just put both of these up on December 3rd, 2007. Oh, iRiver...it would be a good idea to have done both of these a lot earlier. Untitled Document
