Firmware version 2.04
Hi guys i'm new here so please redirect me if i'm posting the wrong thing !

i've had my irver pmp 120 for a few years now and i recently upgraded to firmware version 2.04

what i'd like to know is what are the advantages of this version over the previous ones? i can see that there is a text option but i don't know how to use it- i would be grateful for any help (also can it read microsoft word files?)

did you have any dramas when you updated it to version 2.04
i did it yesterday and ever since i have been trying to undo it as my system has developed a boot failure.
would it be possible for you to copy your working files in your root directory and send them to me via email as every other option i have tried has been a waste of time and my wife is now getting a little miffed that i am playing with this pmp and not her!!!!

um seems rather strange, do you know if that would work? have you tried e-mailing iriver's customer service? i found them very helpful when asking uabout upgrading to latest firmware.
