PMP-140 Power connection trouble

Hi all. New to the forum. Glad I finally found a place to get some help with my iRiver.

I've been having a hard time getting the batteries to charge on my iRiver. It seems to be with the connector. I've tested the Power Adapter and it is good. If I push to the right on the top (wire end) of the plug, it seems to work for a while. I don't know if it is not making good contact or if there is a problem with the connection of the plug to the board. Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob.

Just a quick update: It does charge fine through the USB, so I'm pretty sure it is just the connection with the AC port. Though I'm not sure if it is the connection between the plug and the port or the port and the Board.

Again... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
