Erm the iriver H300 is better than an ipod photo in my opinion... It has more functions, better battery life and sound and looks likely to support video playback very soon... |

At the moment the games on the PiMP are only 8-bit
As for whether there'll be a H360 or H380 - my guess is that any 60GB and 80GB capacity players will be iRiver's next H Series development, i.e. the H400 series - but don'task me when that'll be If you're asking my opinion; if you're into music I'd say get the H3XX Series - let's face it, the PiMP can't play Vorbis yet, and has the basic remote, where the H3XX can, and will have its own remote by the end of November. There's also more chance the H3XX will get Gapless (if we 100 Series owners get our way If on the other hand Videos are your thing, then the PiMP is the one to go for (with support of all those codecs), since any Video Support on the H3XX Series is likely to be basic, to say the least ... the remote won't matter, since you'll need to be viewing the main screen anyways ... |

The PMP was recently reviewed on cnet.com and it only got a lousy 6/10...

I'm sorry, but how does a DA(V)P not being able to sync with WMP10 detract from it's ability to play vids
? . It's a shame, 'cause the point directly preceding it was a valid one - the fact that the PiMP can't record video directly is a biggie ...Don't even get me started on DRM'ed material - let's just say, one word usually attributes itself to iRiver HDD players - liberty |
