worry on pmp

i bought my pmp-140 2 years ago and have had ttwo times hardware problems.... in july 1006 i fell off my bike and broke its screen.it would otherwise be so funny but guys i have paid in euro (i am from greece ) 490 for my first iriver ihp-120 and then when it was damaged i had some kind of a discount, cause it was out of warranty time, in bying my new pmp-140.instead of paying 620 euros that costed in greece at that time i paid 430. so it is a total of 920 euros plus almost 40 for sending my devices to be repaired... too much money!!! now i have contacted iriver and i am informed that a new lcd display will cost 75 euros... after all is it worth paying that money..will it be usefull or just wasting my money once again???

Probably not. You can pick up a "parts" pmp 120 off ebay and just use the screen off that.
