you didn't even try did you? just hook it up to your pc with the usb cable I presume your friend did include that in the sale... and copy your existing music or movie files to it (provided they are in the right format if not convert some).

I did try to do it thru the WMP player but i couldnt get it. Its frustrating because one im trying to find a website to go for the movies and the music and just convert them. Im usually able to catch on quick with technical things

This is a HD based player, simply Drag / Drop files to the appropriate folders (ie music, videos, pictures, etc)

Figured Id just use this thread and not make my own.
I didnt see any kind of faq about these pmp players. Are they a UMS device like all mp3 players should be? Do they require an early version of windows media player? What file types are they compatible with? What type of problems with them are common - for example, my POS h10 has hideous problems with being detected and other dumb stuff that just shouldnt happen, does the PMP share these problems? Id just like to hear what people think about these players, ive got alot of cartoons i could watch. |

PMP's are UMS devices
They don't require Windows Media Player at all. Simply drag and drop. Movies: Avi Music: MP3's WAV's Common problems: Firmware must be updated to fix the audio glitch problem which you can find on the website. Other than that, It's a wonderful media player. I've used the PMP for about 5 months now and never looked back. The only problem I have with the PMP is that it's a little too big to take on casual outings. I am using my PMP now to just take on long trips or play movies to the TV. |

Thanks for the good post. Full of all the info I wanted. If every big media device was a UMS tool like it was supposed to be, i would have a lot more electronics.
Curse my 20gb h10 Thanks! |
