is it supposed to be so slow?
ok, I already asked this in my previous post, but just to address it specifically:
Is it normal that my PMP 140 takes about 20 seconds to open up the folder named audio where I have about 20G of music copied, in say 100 different folders? This means that if I'm listening to one song and I think of another I want to look for, I can't just quickly navigate out from where I am, through audio folder and back into a different band folder to find a new song, because every time I go back to that top level, it takes so long to call it all up? My old iHP 140 used to react and do this instantaneously. I know there are different ways of doing thing on the PMP, with playlists and so on, that I haven't completely got to grips with, but either way it seems as though this is going to be a problem. So are they all like this, or does mine have a problem, or have I copied things onto it wrongly? I haven't managed to scan the DB as when I connect it up, my PC doesn't seem to giveme that option Thanks in advance |
