Newbie Floating Down The Mistic River

HELP!!! Blanked out

I may be beyond help now, but I just tried to upgrade the firmware on my PMP-120 to 2.04. It was 'upgrading firmware' for hours, and not knowing what to do (I assumed it had crashed), I turned the player off. Of course, it won't turn back on anymore! Can anything be done? My computer won't recognise it, and the only sign of life is the green light when plugged in to AC or USB. Any suggestions v v v welcome.
