windows media player freezing?

FIXED: apparently symantec client firewall was stopping it -_-

So i just installed the stuff to put stuff on my iriver (PMC-120 about a year old) and whenever i plug it in and go into WMP, WMP just freezes, if i plug it in then open WMP its frozen from start, if i plug it in after and hit refresh plugged in things, it freezes. Any idea why?

my h10 would do that all of the time when i plugged mine up to Wmp to and my computer is in good shape. it might help if you do a database refresh. to do that you need to take your battery out for 3 minutes then put it back in and turn on the player, go to seetings, then to extra and do a database refresh. it should help with the freezing up and also restart your computer before you plug in your player
