Video conversion problem using iRiverter for PMP-140

I've had my PMP for a year now and just recently began having this problem, and I'm not sure what could have prompted it. Any time I attempted to convert a movie to 640 x 480, it will automatically convert it to 320 x 240 regardless of what I've put the conversion settings at. Any ideas?

The LCD on the PMP can only do 320x240, so there is not much of a difference unless you use it in TV mode which can do the 640x480 resolution.

....It's on the proper settings, and it's set to 680 x 480. And yes, playing it on a TV is what I want to use it for, so it does matter.

just choose a different profile and set it to use that resolution. It's not gonna matter.
