I had a similar problem with condensation under my sceen from going in and out of an air conditioned office while I was in Mexico.
I followed Shamrockman's PMP disassembly guide and was able to easily open the top sceen enough to use the cloth that came with my pmp to wipe the sceen as well as the lcd itself.
My pmp is over a year or so old and I dont really care about the warranty but there were no visible marks left on the PMP after opening the case and cleaning. Hope that helps.

Is the PMP disassembly the same as a PMC?

Just an update for anyone else having this problem
i found out that you are able to lift the screen with a razor, and cut the simple double-sided tape underneath the screen. I was then able to wipe the screen clean, and glue it down properly.
