windows streaming video

when i try to use pocket divx to convert windows streaming video that i have recorded using the podcast online it can't be recognized, it does not show up, does any one know how to get these type of files fit to play on my pmp 140, any advice would be much appreciated, Phil.

Hi, its just an application that streams tv over the internet, I got it because i can see my beloved Chelsea Football club, when they are not on sky tv Satelite , as they were this morning, but i would like to keep some games, and some of the muisc videos etc, its not a biggee but its always nice to know how too!! but i can't seem to detect the recordings, they are there, but they do not have fobs and things like DVDs when you rip them. cheers phil.

Just to say i can now convert podcast using vso software, got dead mans chest which converted well, but I have listed my pmp 140 on trade me in nz, I am not away from home any more and despite the initial problems it has been a great companion, it had over 25 films, and thousands of mp3s and still was one third empty, pity Iriver could not have been a bit more helpfull, however if they were we might not have sites as good as this, farewell till next iriver!!!

If there is any one out there that is interested I am selling my 140, It has a new hard drive, there are two tiny red spots on the screen that have been there for 7 months now, i have two new batteries, and external, battery with 4xaa batts, batts not included, a usb to computor/usb/cig in car charger, and cool windscreen mount from USA, will post worldwide, once payment recieved, have advertised on trade me NZ but they are poor and narrow minded here want all for naff all, any questions philride@xnet.co.nz cheers phil.
