Some Compatable Devices

I got my PMP-120 today and have tried it out on a few different things and these devices all worked.

1. Concord Eye Que Duo LCD 1.3 Megapixel camera in drive mode. Reads as a mass storage device, but still requires a driver under XP.
2. Sony Clie PDA running MS Import: The palm software makes it act as a memorystick reader. Though under Windows it needs MS Export installed on the PC side.
3. Iomega Zip 100 USB (Not likely to be using this, but it's good to know it works.)
4. SimpleTech 120Gb external USB harddrive (Fat32 of course)
5. 1Gb flash drive

I also found out something about it's AVI support. It looks for the xvid 4CC, and possibly others. If it doesn't recognize the 4CC it won't play the file, even if it's decoder is actually capable of playing it. Changing the 4CC is quicker then trying to convert a file. Oh, and this is with version 1.13 firmware.

I do have one issue though, the battery is DoA. Won't charge at all. (AC or USB) Can't even get a low battery message. Am contacting iRiver to see if I can get it replaced under the 90 day warranty. AC adapter and the other stuff works though.
