Hi guys,
Just to update ya'll of my issues with WMP11... I had to go back to WMP10 cos it cocked things (video conversions...vid but no audio)) up big time Installed the full K-Lite codec package (18MB) just in case it was a codec issue...still no joy. Back to WMP10...no probs....but I STILL have to pre-convert avi's and mpegs etc using xilisoft (i get the 'server threw an exception' error if i allow WMP10 to do the conversion.....I turned OFF conversion in the advanced properties of the iriver device). I am now, however, (God does it ever stop!!) having sync issues!! The audio, using the above xilisoft method, on mpegs is OUT of TIME relative to the video. I know there is a fix using Windows Media Player Classic (using the 'audio time shift' function) but this is only temporary......how do I apply and save this to the file without needing a university degree in AV technology (or be an expert using VirtualDub....yuk!) Begining to wish I still had a 'Walkman' |

That is weird with the WMP11... Works fine here. And the xilisoft has never given me any out of sync video/audio problems.
Well sometimes this darn electronic machines do what ever they please and sometimes the only thing to do is hope for the best.
