Rockbox, again our last chance??

This post is to move everyone to make an effort to collect signs or something like that, to tell rockbox we are here. They said that they don´t develop a pmp version of their firmware, because the pmp has not enough people to develop a version of rockbox to our pmp. I think, thanks to shanrockman, we have a lot of information about pmp and its function. Maybe if we get this to rockbox people they can develop a version of their firmware to our pmp.
I´m asking for some help to go on with this stuff, I think this can be our last chance of a powerfull pmp.

No, the reason Rockbox isn't developed for the PMP is because nobody WITH a PMP is developing it.

Rockbox doesn't get developed because a large number of people ask for it. It gets developed because someone does it. If you want it to get ported to the PMP, some of you PMP owners need to actually do the work. The Rockbox developers are around to help, but each of them has plenty of stuff to work on already.

Porting and developing Rockbox for a player requires a strong love for the player because it is not easy work. As well, Rockbox has nothing in the way of video support, so at the moment it would greatly DECREASE the PMP's functionality.
