car charger?

Just purchased a sony car connection kit(tape/charger), but also noticed that it only converts to 1.5/3/4.5/6V output voltage ...it is useless with the pmp 140 which is a 5v i believe.
Any help is much appreciated!
Also, in the U.S. what is the latest firmware version and where kind i find it?

Thanks a lot i really enjoy the forum

The 4.5 V works with my iHP-140 (which also is a 5 volt player)--you may want to try it. DO NOT SWITCH TO 6V!

The PMP is not region specific like the h300s you can flash to the k 2.04 with out trouble there are guides in the FAQ section of how to change back from korean language.

Thats voltage current is measured in ampere or amps for short. Symbol is simply A.

The package or the adapter itself usually indicates the amperage, right next to the voltage.
