Yes that does include the battery pack. I've never gotten that kind of battery life without the external pack.

No, of course not, the topology in both players is totally different. Not to mention that those batteries just weren't designed to work with the IMP's. Newer technology vs. older hardware. No ticky, no washy.

In any case, you can buy batteries for the IMP from a 3rd party vendor for $4 each ! So big difference compared to the $50 battery in the H series.
