I've just recently acquired a relatively new t10 2GB in black (the second DAP I've ever owned - before that I owned a Sony NW-E105 but the toggle switch stopped working after a while, and it's now permanently 'on hold') and I'm loving the experience. I originally had my eye on a t50 but even that's been discontinued (why so soon?!). Anyway, reports about the poor joystick put me off the t60 (in addition to its poor battery performance). Goggling led me to the t10 and then this forum.

I was a bit apprehensive about getting one at first, especially with the UMS problem, but all these problems have resolved themselves (much to my relief). Like other owners of the t10, I'm only prepared to invest in DAPs that are powered by AA or AAA batteries. 1GB is usually enough for me but 2GB is perfect (I usually listen to music transferred from other sources - CDs, flashdrives, etc.). My Sony (which also had the drag 'n' drop facility) was very basic compared this, so I'm enjoying having the extra functions such as voice recording, FM radio, timer and alarm, a colour screen and a comprehensive menu system.

My only complaint, so far, is the non-existence of gapless (even my Sony NW-E105, which came out shortly after the t10, had this). Let's just hope that, one day, there'll be some firmware to correct this problem.
