I bought my T10 2GB more than a year ago after considering some Cowon DAPs (G3, U2, U3) and both the Iriver T10 and T30, finally decided to go with the T10 for sturdiness and capacity - almost needless to say I'm very very happy with my purchase.
In many ways it's almost the perfect player I wanted: music only with great sound quality, durable, runs on regular batteries (VERY important for me), good battery life, ogg support, small but not tiny, radio, UMS and nice screen, I also like the button navigation which is better then joystick IMO.
The only major drawbacks for me are the use of the battery when transferring file instead of USB, the danger of bricking it on firmware updates and maybe the headphones jack placement.
On iAudiophile.net there are many reports of G3's that are falling apart, which is a shame since otherwise they looked like good players. The lack of traffic on this forum might indicate that the T10 has a much better build quality
I still lurk here from time to time, though, hoping maybe for a new firmware update (unlikely).
Sadly in the last year it became more and more difficult to find a good player which runs on regular batteries to the point that the only models on the market, I believe, are the T50 and T60. I guess the crowd has spoken.
Me? I like to buy things that
LAST. So I'm planning on keeping my T10 for some years to come...
