For clarification, this is an internal connection issue.

When you wiggle the headphone jack back and forth the solder will eventually crack.

iRiver sent me a new one no problem.

You just have to be careful not to put pressure on the S10 when it's plugged in. (mine was plugged in, and one of my stupid room mates put his foot on it!! <_< this is when the problems started happening)

I am still wondering if they will resolve this issue eventually??? (with a new pcb revision or something)

If I have time I will take pictures of the broken solder, I tried to have it re soldered by a professional and they said it is not fixable.
