I'm about to buy a clix 2 (8GB), but...

Ok so I am really really close to buying my self an iriver clix 2 8GB, but the one thing that's holding me back is its durability. The reason being, my previous 2 mp3 players, the creative zen micro (4GB), and a sandisk sansa e270. The zen micro broke cuz it was a hard drive and i dropped it. I bought the sandisk because supposedly it is very durable (with the liquid metal back case), but when it fell, it fell on the head phone jack, and eventually the jack came loose along with other problems.

So, this time I plan on getting a silicon case for my new mp3 player, but is it any chance by fragile? in case you haven't noticed, I dropped my mp3 players a bit, so durability's a big thing for me.

Also, does the clix 2 have any technical issues like freezing or w/e, and if so do they happen often. I don't really care about the videos so converting issues, so those aren't that significant to me. So answers to my questions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
