Help me!!!

I think I screwed up and installed the wrong firmware upgrade on my trusty fp-890!!! After the upgrade I turn on the player I get the IRIVER splash screen with UMS 1.95

then SCAN MUSIC FILE

then NO FILE

then pressing the jioystick I get

ROOT
VOICE
RECORD

and thats all she wrote????? How can I get past this? I go into the IRIVER music manager and it seems to think that this is a memory stick. I can write things to it BUT there is NO application to play music/radio etc????? ALSO in Iriver music manager the option to upgrade the firmware is greyed out.

how can I reload the app??
