Sansa E250 Died BUT

I am real impressed with Sansa Customer Service. I was in Bora Bora over Christmas and my E250 got REALLY, REALLY hot during a recharge cycle and then woudn't turn on.

As luck would have it (and because this was a vacation so I had room) I had my H120 with me so I could still listen to tunes while out on the beach, watching the clouds pass by...what an absolutely beautiful place...

When I got back to Taiwan, I sent a message to Sansa through their website and let them know that I bought it in Taiwan. Over a few messages, they suggested several fixes which I tried to no avail. Then without asking, I received RMA in my inbox, along with a note that they will cover up to $15 in foreign postage.

I can't begin to tell you how nice it was to deal with Sansa on this problem...they responded within a day to each message, were very helpful all the way, and then are willing to pay $15 to mail a $70 player! I'm not going to ask for the postage...I'll just be real happy to get a replacement player...

In the meantime, I confiscated my son's player for my personal use... and he is using an old Zen Neeon player...he likes the lights!!

Can't say enough good things about dealing with Sansa...
