Hi guys i'm new here so please redirect me if i'm posting the wrong thing

i've had my irver pmp 120 for a few years now and i recently upgraded to firmware version 2.04
what i'd like to know is what are the advantages of this version over the previous ones? i can see that there is a text option but i don't know how to use it- i would be grateful for any help (also can it read microsoft word files?)
