Yah, OK, I guess "American" could just as easily stand for "North American" (although it usually doesn't!). I spent 2 years in Atlanta, Georgia and on a surface level, the cultures are similar. But, after a while, you sure start to notice the differences. My friends were mostly black (I'm caucasian) and if I spent time with them many Americans got totally freaked out. Not cool. I actually went to the Freak'Nic (50 Black colleges across the US get together and throw a huge party every year), and BOY did I ever get the looks! Not that I care. No one is going to tell me who to be friends with. I sound like I'm in the seventh grade, eh? I've never been to the UK, so no comment there. Anyone wanna sponsor me?
We used to have a Yellow Lab, which I think has a similar temperament to the Golden Retriever. She was super hyper, though. Waaaay to hyper to be with kids. But, then, my mother in law trained her, and she's equally as hyper! So, you are what you learn! We're leaning towards the Standard Schnauzer or a Schnauzer cross. Any ideas?
