Twunt, as far as I know, was introduced to MR by the now sadly AWOL DemonicOmlette, a remarkable and singular wit.
I don't know whether he created the word himself or whether he merely picked it up elsewhere (more likely the latter) but it's meaning is identical to the two words it is a conglomeration of (both of which have the same meaning). I won't say what those two words are though as neither of them are particularly nice words - plus I'm sure you'll be able to work them out.
The word was more commonly used back when the good old profanity filter was in place.
The link I posted was to a profile of a member of iLounge, rather than a thread he had contributed to.
Basically, the guy in question is about the most petulant, immature and offensive individual I have ever run across on a forum.
From what I saw, 90%+ of all his posts were unprovoked personal attacks against other people, any one of which would get him banned from a well-run forum such as MR. However, because he is a long-standing member of iLounge, whilst repeatedly being banned, he was also repeatedly un-banned and most of the Mods seem just to ignore his behaviour, some even going so far as to describe him as funny.
Suffice to say, if he has been banned (again), that's a good thing but I don't doubt that he'll be allowed to return and continue his pathetic expulsion of insults against anyone he comes across who doesn't meet whatever random measure it is he uses.
