Thanks, Step! I have also read the manual and I guess the confusing part to me was whether the
AC adapter (not included) USB was proprietary or not. Since Sandisk is not releasing one expressly for the Clip, it's good that the adapter is NOT proprietary and I can purchase a (high quality) generic one.
