I can't say I agree with the lack of sturdiness of the joystick mechanism. My T60 has had very heavy use over the last 5 months and the joystick mechanism feels exactly the same as when it was new.

As for the "hit and miss" problem, yes I agree with that, however I think the T60 navigation is far, far better than the horrible navigation on my X20 with it's slippery, totally non-grippy wheel and convoluted menu structure. The problem with the T60 lies in wanting to press the knob directly downwards but you end up pressing it left or right instead.

I've never tried a T50 - maybe that has less of a problem because it's bigger.
