This just happened to my iFP190 after four and a half years of faithful service. I was at the gym listening to it last night, turned it off when my workout was over and suddenly can't get it to turn on.
I've tried replacing the battery, checking the contacts, pressing the buttons all sorts of different ways, etc., but nothing works. The power button seems to have slightly less "push back" when I press it compared to the other buttons, so maybe something finally gave way underneath.
Anyway, I'll keep trying, but it feels like the end of an era. I've certainly gotten a hell of a lot of use out of this player.
