I just bought a T60 4Gb, and it's a great player. There are however a few problems
The first problem seems to be a pretty common one. When I've transferred my music to the player, the “scan music file” message appears for about 30 seconds.
I've updated the firmware (1.03), formatted the player and re-transferred my files, but the problem is still there. I even tried truncating the filenames (to 45 characters), and I've deleted one file with apparently contained an error.
The thing is, if I only transfer about 10 files, the problem is gone. But I have 540 files, and it would be nice if I could use all of them. All 540 files are placed in the same directory, which of course could be the problem. I just think it should work regardless of how the files are placed on the player.
The other problem is just a minor one, and one I guess I can live with. The player seems to skip to the next track 4-5 seconds before the current track is finished. On some songs, this can be kinda annoying, but again, it's something I (think I) can live with
If anyone has any ideas how to fix the “scan music file” error, please share your wisdom
