Thanks to fcormier and ShyAnne for shedding light on some questions.
I decided to (kinda) bite the bullet and was able to nab a 2GB T10 for about $112.00 US with shipping. I'm looking forward to messing with it!
However, I'm still quite keen on any knowledge anyone has to offer on the future T50, so if there are any updates, postpostpost.
